In recent years Vrnjačka Banja has held an open-air New Year’s Eve celebration on Trg kulture (Culture Square): according to the media, Breskvica performed for New Year 2026 as part of the “Vrnjačka New Year’s Fairy Tale” (Republika, 1.1.2026). The programme for 31 December 2026 has not yet been published: on 23.10.2026 the Tourist Organisation’s events calendar ends with events from the first half of December. The spa town is a good choice for couples because it combines spa facilities with a calmer pace. You have three options. The first is a hotel package with a celebration, like the one at Hotel Fontana, where the evening and music are already organised. The second is a hotel package without an emphasis on New Year’s Eve, such as the Hotel Slatina package, where the focus is on the stay and wellness. The third is private accommodation with spa facilities for guests only, such as Vila Palas, with a walk to the square at midnight.

What to check before booking
- Whether the celebration is included. A holiday package is not always a package with a celebration. At Hotel Slatina, ask about this explicitly.
- Price and unit. Ask whether the price is for two people for the whole package and what costs extra.
- Spa rules. At some hotels spa entry is limited to once a day or there are separate time slots for children.
- Deposit and cancellation. Ask for the terms in writing; at Hotel Fontana the general price list provides for a 50% deposit and cancellation fees of up to 100%.
- Discount deadlines. The 15% discount at Hotel Slatina applies to bookings made and paid by 30.11.2026.
