According to offers published by intermediaries, the cheapest options are kafanas (traditional Serbian taverns) and river clubs, with tickets from €25 to €60, and New Year’s Day parties on 1 January (known locally as repriza) from 1,500 dinars or with free entry; these offers have not been confirmed by the organisers, so check them with the venue before paying. Restaurants with dinner and unlimited drinks cost from about €50 to €120 per person. Hotel gala dinners with well-known performers cost from €70 to €250, and drinks there are usually paid separately. We track 50 offers in Belgrade, but they are not all equally reliable. Each offer carries one of three labels:
- Confirmed by the organiser (4): the price and performer are published by the hotel or agency organising the celebration. This is the most reliable information.
- Published by an intermediary (37): the offer appears on a listings portal, but we have not found it with the organiser. Check it with the venue before paying.
- Inconsistent sources (9): portals list a different performer or price, or the page is probably from last season. Do not treat this information as final.
Offers clearly left over from the 2026 New Year’s Eve, with old dates and performers, have not been included.

How much New Year’s Eve 2027 in Belgrade costs
These are the price ranges from the offers we checked on 23.10.2026. The price almost always depends on the zone, that is, how far the table is from the stage. Most importantly, check whether drinks are included, because that determines how much you will actually pay.

Will there be a New Year’s Eve celebration in the square in Belgrade?
As of 23 October 2026, the City of Belgrade has not announced an open-air celebration for 31 December 2026. For the previous New Year’s Eve, the mayor announced in December 2025 that the city would not organise celebrations, citing security reasons (N1). Some portals already mention a “2027 celebration in the square”, but without a source. We will update this section as soon as the city announces its decision. So far, no concert has been announced at the Belgrade Arena for 31 December.

Hotels offer the most formal celebration: a gala dinner, an elegant hall and the best-known performers. At most of them the price includes dinner and a welcome drink, while other drinks are paid separately. So when comparing with restaurants, factor in the cost of drinks.

Restaurants, event halls and Skadarlija
Restaurants are the best choice if you want a clear price in advance: dinner and drinks are usually included, and the band plays all night. Skadarlija is more expensive, but offers a traditional bohemian atmosphere in kafanas that are more than a century old.

New Year’s Eve on a river club
The river clubs (splavovi, floating venues) on the Zemun quay, the Sajam quay and in New Belgrade offer a riverside celebration, from kafana music with tamburica players to DJ sets. Watch out for two things: with cheap €25 tickets, drinks are paid separately and there is no food, and booths and tables cost extra per group, sometimes several hundred euros.

- Skadarlija and Dorćol: Dva jelena, Tri šešira, Zlatni bokal, Kafana Stari grad and Lobby in Dunavska. For lovers of tradition and tamburica music.
- Savamala and Belgrade Waterfront: A4 Beograd na vodi, Radisson Old Mill and Savski venac. The biggest concert productions in the city.
- New Belgrade: Hyatt, Crowne Plaza, Sava Centar, Mlin, Barberi. The most hotel gala dinners.

New Year’s Eve for couples and with children
New Year’s Eve for two in Belgrade
For a romantic celebration in the city, choose a smaller hall or a bar table: a bar table at the Metropol is €70, and at the New Year’s Day party at the Hyatt the cheapest zone is €60 per person. Kafanas and Skadarlija offer a more intimate atmosphere than the large halls. If peace and quiet matter more to you than a stage, consider a house with a hot tub near Belgrade. Check the price, programme and holiday availability directly with the host.

New Year’s Eve with children
None of the Belgrade offers we checked mentions a children’s programme or prices for children. The celebrations start at around 20:00–21:00 and last until the early morning, so they are aimed at adults. For families, we recommend spa packages in Vrdnik and Vrnjačka Banja, where entertainment and a play area are included. Details are in the main guide, in the section on New Year’s Eve with children.
What to check before paying
- Whether drinks are included. “Drinks paid separately” (po utrošku) means you pay for drinks on top. At hotels and with cheap river club tickets, this can double the bill.
- Zone and table surcharge. At river clubs and nightclubs the ticket price often does not include a table; booths cost extra per group.
- Cancellation terms. Some venues do not give refunds after 10 November. Ask for the terms in writing.
- Who the organiser is. Listings portals are not organisers. Ask who you are paying and whether you will receive an invoice or confirmation.
- The performer. Ask what happens if the announced performer does not appear; this is especially important for offers with inconsistent sources.
- Cloakroom and getting home. Some venues charge 500 dinars for the cloakroom. Book transport for after midnight in advance.
