ODMORI365 · INDEPENDENT ACCOMMODATION GUIDE
Fari Stone Villas – Skala Maries, Tasos
Accommodation and setting
The property offers stone-built villas and suites with pools in the Fari area of Thassos. Before choosing, confirm the exact unit, room layout, number of beds and available facilities. Photographs of one category may not represent every villa. Use the official website for current interior pictures and specifications rather than relying on a general destination photograph.
Location and beaches
Compare the precise address with the beaches, restaurants and shops you want to visit. On an island, distance in kilometres does not always reflect actual driving time. Ask about parking and access, particularly if you are travelling with children or carrying luggage. Popular beaches can become busy during the peak summer season.
Who might enjoy this stay
Couples often choose villas for privacy and a quieter holiday rhythm. Families may prioritise a kitchen, separate bedrooms and convenient access to everyday services. Larger groups should confirm the actual number of beds and bathrooms, rather than relying only on maximum occupancy. Travellers with young children should ask about pool safety and steps.
Before you book
Request the total price for your dates, cancellation terms, minimum stay and any additional charges. If a private or heated pool matters, confirm that it belongs to your exact unit. Check arrival and departure times, parking and pet rules. Prices and availability change and are not guaranteed by this guide.
Planning a relaxed holiday
Leave time to enjoy the accommodation itself as well as explore the island. Choose a few beaches that suit your location instead of spending every day on long drives. For boat trips, confirm the departure point and weather conditions. A well-chosen base often matters more than an overcrowded itinerary.

Practical tips for a smoother stay
Save the property’s address and host contact details before travelling, and check that navigation leads to the correct entrance. If you arrive late, arrange key collection in advance. Ask whether towels, bed linen, final cleaning and local taxes are included in the quoted price. If you plan to work remotely, confirm internet reliability and a suitable working space. During hot summer months, check whether bedrooms are air-conditioned rather than assuming that cooling is available throughout the villa.
Journey times to the beach depend on traffic, parking and terrain, so assess the actual route rather than straight-line distance. If travelling as a group, tell the host the composition of your party and confirm sleeping arrangements before paying. Keep written confirmation of the booking and cancellation conditions. These simple steps make it easier to compare accommodation fairly and avoid misunderstandings during your holiday.
